Becoming, In the Unknown

Two weeks, two months, two years, a lifetime? Who will we become, in the aftermath of the loss, suffering and loneliness that we have all endured as the pandemic affects ripple through our lives and our world? Will we ever be whole again following these fragmented times? Becoming, In the Unknown is an exploration of these unifying and unique times that we have experienced together and alone.

This modern dance performance was developed while the pandemic wreaked havoc on our lives and on our world. Dancing together during a pandemic was a study in creativity and finding new ways to connect. What you will see is a collaborative creation by artistic director and choreographer Alli Jones and the dancers, Diana Drummond, Haley O’Hara, Amanda Segro and Emily Tomasi. Please come share in Nosilla Dance Projects first performance in two years, Becoming, In the Unknown at the Dairy Arts Center June 10th and 11th at 7:30pm.

Nosilla Dance Project is pleased to announce the addition of Award winning harpist Margot Krimmel, (Pop and Jazzfest, AZ, Scottish Highland Fest, Estes Park, CO, Rencontres Internationales de Harpes Celtiques Dinan, France). Margot is known for her unique approach to harp. About her latest album 'Ever the New Time Comes', Art Lande says, "...her sense of touch, timing and color take the listener into the very personal worlds of her elegant compositions."
